About BrittMarie

BrittMarie Eksell grew up in Stockholm, Sweden, and moved to the US in 1975 to study textile design at Pratt Institute. Inspired by the power of creative expression, she earned an MA in art therapy and a PhD in health psychology and went on to work in cancer hospitals, creating spaces for emotional expression and healing.

After spending 35 years in the US, she now resides in Scotland. Here she enjoys daily hikes with her beloved dogs and capturing the serenity and beauty of her natural surroundings through photography.
